About Me

The act of design requires involvement and process. I believe every design must have an intention, however I also think that we should leave room for the happy accidents. Variation, after all, allows for evolution not only in life, but also in design. Once the idea has cemented, careful and professional execution is required to create something successful.

I am research oriented and a self-professed information junkie. I don’t think logical thinking should be reserved for cyborgs. I wish the US would convert to the metric system.  I am interested in using typography, layout, information design, and interactivity to reach out to the world and make it a better place through education.

When I’m not thinking about design, I enjoy photography and long runs with my dog.
